Sbi po mains result 2017 – State Bank of India will declare result of SBI PO Mains 2017 on June 19, 2017. The SBI PO 2017 mains exam was held on June 4. To check SBI PO 2017 result, candidates need to enter their roll number or registration number and DOB (date of birth). Earlier, State Bank of India has declared SBI PO result 2017 on May 16 for the preliminary exam. SBI PO Result 2017 has been declared a day in advance of the scheduled date. SBI PO Result 2017 for Mains

SBI PO mains result 2017 will be announced on basis of marks obtained by candidates in objective type test of 200 marks including qualifying scores in each section i.e. Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness and English Language. There will be descriptive type test for a total of 50 marks, which will be considered only if candidates qualify the objective test paper of SBI PO mains 2017. Candidates need to obtain passing marks in SBI PO mains descriptive paper, which will be decided by the exam conducting authority at the time of SBI PO mains result announcement. Candidates who will qualify objective paper of SBI PO mains 2017 after qualifying sectional and overall cutoff as well as subjective test paper of SBI PO mains will be placed higher in SBI PO mains 2017 merit list.

SBI PO Result 2017 for Group Exercise and Interview –

State Bank of India will be conducting Group Exercises for 30 marks and Personal Interview for 20 marks. The qualifying marks for SBI PO 2017 GD-PI will be decided by the bank only, Candidates qualifying GD-PI will be considered for SBI PO Final Result 2017.

Note: Candidates belonging to OBC category need to provide OBC Certificate mentioning ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ status. The OBC category candidates, who are not able to submit OBC Certificate as Non-Creamy Layer’ will be considered under General Category only.

SBI PO Result 2017 for Final Selection: The exam conducting authority will be announcing SBI PO final result 2017 after conducting Group Discussion and Interview. The final result of SBI PO 2017 will be calculated after normalisation process of Mains and GD -PI marks. As per the official notification of SBI, the marks of SBI PO prelims (Phase I) won’t be considered for preparing final SBI PO result 2017. Only marks of SBI PO mains (objective test – 200 marks and descriptive test – 50 marks) and GD-PI marks will be considered for preparing final SBI PO result 2017. How to calculate SBI PO Final Result 2017

The normalisation of marks will be done for candidates who have qualified SBI PO 2017 mains examination in both objective and descriptive paper and GD and PI. SBI will be applying normalisation process as under –

SBI PO Mains examination marks (combined 250 marks of both papers) will be converted to maximum marks 75 and marks for Group Discussion & Interview (30+20 marks) are converted out of 25 marks. The SBI PO 2017 final result will be derived after normalisation of written test and group discussion & interview marks to a maximum of 100 for each category.

Total Marks secured by candidates (out of normalised marks 100) in SBI PO = Marks of Mains examination (normalised to 75 marks) + Marks of GD and PI (normalised to 25 marks)
SBI will be releasing a final merit list for SBI PO 2017 and candidates who will secure higher rank in their category will be selected for post of Probationary Officers in SBI Branches.

As per marking scheme of SBI PO 2017, for each correct answer one mark has been allotted.
In case of wrong attempts, 0.25% marks has been deducted from total marks scored.
